Why I built Empathic Aging.
I’ve spent my career walking alongside older adults and caregivers across community programs, care management, and the VA—helping families navigate systems that were never designed with them in mind.
Born from real experience
Years of seeing caregivers carry enormous amounts of invisible information and responsibility.
Designed for real life
Practical support for the messy, beautiful, complicated reality of caring for someone.
Built on respect
For caregivers’ judgment, for older adults’ autonomy, and for the complexity of every family.
Empathic Aging is my answer to that.
The goal is not to tell families what to do. It is to help people slow down, make sense of what they are seeing, understand their options, and decide what deserves attention.
AI can help organize information and notice patterns. Human judgment, professional expertise, autonomy, relationships, and context still matter.
